For over 40 years, the Medicine Bow mountains have been home to lessons only experience can teach. My wife and I own 68 acres surrounded by the National Forest in southeast Wyoming, a place where patience, respect, and persistence meet opportunity.

Hunting elk here isn’t just about the harvest. It’s about understanding the land, learning the habits of these magnificent bulls, and honoring the challenge. This old bull, likely over ten years wise,  has evaded predators and hunters his entire life. Matching wits with a survivor like that is the true reward.

Because some things you can’t be told, you have to live it to know it.
